QA Analyst

QA Analyst Summary:

Signature Consultants is looking for a QA Analyst to work on a contract position with one of our clients located in Fort Lauderdale, FL. The QA Analyst must be willing to work different schedules as required by business needs to support onshore offshore model. Her or she will be responsible for mainly manual testing using best practices, developing Test strategy, Detail test plan, estimate, track progress of their work and provide support to offshore team.

Responsibilities:

• Perform Black box testing, integration testing and other type of testing
• Assure the release process is tightly managed during SDLC cycle for QA environment health
• Analyze and Inspect business and functional requirements documents and use cases
• Work effectively with business team, Application support team, and other groups
• Capture, analyze and own defects through resolution
• Report Quality Matrix on project that they are responsible for from MTM and from Jira
• Complete development and testing effort within timelines and budgets identified by the team
• Conduct peer reviews of test plans, test procedures, and test scripts
• Participate in design reviews
• Perform Functional test, Regression test, Exploratory Testing
• Provide support to UAT by reviewing and identifying issues reported, create respective bug and monitor status
• Develop testing strategy and test plan and stay adhere to review process
• Mentor offshore team when needed and review offshore team work
• Raise risk to Project timeline on timely fashioned
• Reports testing

Qualifications:

• Experience in writing detailed test cases that will be run by different team members
• Ability to execute and report detail bugs to development for fast turnaround
• SQL Experience in backend testing using to write complex queries and verify data
• Ability to work independently and with little direction
• Great communication skills
• Able to identify gaps in testing strategies and make suggestions
• Experience working with offshore teams
• Experience with 834 file is plus
• Experience in Medical field is plus
• Experience in data validation concepts
• Ability to work well in a team environment and able to resolve any technical conflicts
• Experience with Jira, MTM, Jama, Sharepoint, Microsoft Project is preferred
• Experience in Developing testing strategy and test plan, outlined various capabilities of the testing process
• Preferably 4 Yrs. and Up Experienced Employees specializing in back end testing
• At least 5 to 7 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position
• Must possess at least a Bachelor’s/College Degree, Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent field
