Salesforce Technical Architect Summary:

Signature Consultants is looking for a Salesforce Technical Architect to work on a contract position with one of our clients located in Fort Lauderdale, FL. The Salesforce Technical Architect (TA) possesses broad knowledge across multiple development platforms and draws on their skills and experience to assess requirements and architecture to design secure, high-performance technical solutions that maximize the potential of the Salesforce platform. Suitable candidates will be highly knowledgeable in Force.com, web application development, Single Sign-on, Salesforce.com integration, and extension. They will be able to fully utilize out-of-box features of Force.com, designing solutions using the Force.com API, APEX, Visualforce, Lightning and other tools to extend the product as needed. In-depth experience in integration of Salesforce with other enterprise systems is a must-have.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide senior level expertise on decisions and priorities regarding the Salesforce application and its architectures across all the line of business.
  • Facilitate the establishment and implementation of standards and guidelines that guide the design of Salesforce solutions including architecting and implementing solutions requiring integration of multiple platforms and applications across the enterprise.
  • Review and advise on design standards, software builds, platform options, risks, costs versus benefits and impact on the enterprise business process and goals.
  • Able to communicate clearly and confidently, leading both technical briefings and business requirement gathering sessions.
  • Possess the ability to document requirements clearly and concisely, author technical documents and design and document integration needs.
  • Manage client expectations and scope effectively.
  • Understand both Agile (SCRUM) and Waterfall delivery models and follow the importance of SDLC (Software Development Lifecycle Principles) and SFDC development best practices.
  • Map out the Salesforce application architectures for Enterprise level implementations
  • Liaise closely with the functional and technical teams
  • Provide Subject Matter Expertise in Cloud Architecture
  • Lead requirement gathering sessions
  • Lead technical design sessions
  • Authoring technical design documents
  • Managing the technical delivery of integrations and custom extensions
  • Managing technical scope and client expectation
  • Providing expert level assistance to the development team on technical issues

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
  • ADM201 (Admin) certification
  • DEV401 (Developer) certification or ability to demonstrate understanding the foundational components of the platform
  • 5+ years of experience working in Salesforce.com with full lifecycle implementations
  • Deep real-world Force.com integration deliveries of enterprise software systems using industry standard environments such as XML, HTTP/HTTPS, Java, C++, and ASPSOA and batch integration experience
  • Experience in building applications using Lightning, APEX, Visualforce and UI related coding technologies
  • Proven solution engineering and real-world delivery experience
  • Clear & confident technical communication skills
  • Team leading and mentoring skills
  • Experience in security concepts (authentication, authorization, encryption, digital signature), SSL, web service proxies, firewall, SAML 2.0, OpenID Connect, OAuth 2.0)
  • Native or Hybrid Mobile Application development knowledge.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Sales Cloud / Service Cloud Certification
  • Salesforce Certified System Architect or Application Architect
  • Middleware ESB, API Gateway
  • Agile/SCRUM certification
