Senior C# Developer Summary:

Signature Consultants is looking for a Senior C# Developer to work on a contract position with one of our clients located in Dania Beach, FL. The C# Developer will be a part of an agile (SCRUM) development team building and working on enterprise grade software systems on top of the Microsoft .NET development stack. He or she will be involved in all areas of development from design to development to testing.

Responsibilities:

• Work with an agile/scrum team to develop, test, and maintain web and desktop-based business applications built on Microsoft technologies
• Assist in the collection and documentation of user's requirements, development of user stories, and estimates
• Prepare reports, manuals and other documentation on the status, operation and maintenance of software
• Design, develop, and unit test applications in accordance with established standards
• Participate in peer-reviews of solution designs and related code
• Package and support deployment of releases
• Work with teammates in the migration of older applications (asp) to current Microsoft technologies
• Develop, refine, and tune integrations between applications
• Analyze and resolve technical and application problems
• Adhere to high-quality development principles while delivering solutions on-time and on-budget
• Provide third-level support to business users
• Conduct business always with the highest standards of personal, professional and ethical conduct
• Perform or assist with any operations as required to maintain workflow and to meet schedules. Notify supervision of unusual equipment or operating problems and the need for additional material and supplies
• May participate in any variety of meetings and work groups to integrate activities, communicate issues, obtain approvals, resolve problems and maintain specified level of knowledge pertaining to new developments, requirements, policies, and regulatory guidelines
• Ensure all safety precautions are followed while performing the work
• Follow all policies and Standard Operating Procedures as instructed by Management
• Perform any range of special projects, tasks and other related duties as assigned
• Must be available for product build events for DevOps

Qualifications:

• 4-year college degree or 2 year associates degree plus minimum 5 years’ experience
• Solid understanding of object oriented programming concepts
• Solid understanding of relational database design and querying concepts
• Solid understanding of Object programming and architecture
• Familiarity with version control concepts (TFS & Git)
• Solid understanding of Microsoft .NET development using C#
• Solid understanding of web development using HTML/5, CSS and JavaScript
• Solid understanding of UI-UX applications (e.g. AngularJS/4/5, React, Bootstrap).
• Knowledge of client/server application development
• Knowledge of unit testing theory
• Knowledge of Fiddler or like product for network communication
• Familiarity with browser developer tools
• Familiarity with QA processes
• Familiarity with SCRUM and/or Agile development methodology
