C# .Net Developer Summary:

Signature Consultants has an opportunity for a C# .Net Developer to work on a contract position with one of our clients located in Boca Raton Area.  Our client is seeking an accomplished C# Developer to help build the next-generation of their big data search engine. Our client receives millions of data records daily, which are processed and interpreted to create actionable information for their customers. The candidate will write high performance C# code to process customers requests and return information in real-time. Think scalability - this will make you successful and help our client build robust software that can function 24/7 with no down time.

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable C# code
• Develop in an Agile environment working with a diverse team of architects and new ideas
• Evolve and extend our existing product to meet new demands
• Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to problems

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in C#, with a good knowledge of its ecosystems
• Familiarity with the .NET framework
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming
• Skills for writing reusable C# libraries
• Familiarity with various design and architectural patterns
• Knowledge of concurrency patterns in C#
• An understanding of fundamental design principles for a large, scalable application
• Basic understanding of Common Language Runtime (CLR), its limitations, weaknesses, and workarounds
• Experience with automated testing platforms and unit tests
• A proficient understanding of git for source control
• A proficiency with external API integration via SOAP and/or RESTful
• Familiarity with MySQL and Python a plus
