Infrastructure Project Manager

Infrastructure Project Manager Summary:

Signature Consultants is looking for a Infrastructure Project Manager to work on a contract position with one of our clients located in Boca Raton Area. The Infrastructure PM will be responsible for the direction, planning, execution, controlling and completion of assigned projects ensuring compliance with the client’s project methodologies, standards, processes, commitments and goals. Overall responsible for project outcomes.

Required Skills/Experience:

  • Executive presence and effective communication
    • Must be able to clearly articulate project updates to stakeholders and members of the senior leadership team
    • Must possess strong presence with confidence and polish
    • Excellent planning and coordination skills
  • Waterfall and Agile Methodology
    • Must have strong experience running waterfall, agile and hybrid projects, aligning processes, deliverables and project metrics/dashboards/reports as needed.
    • Experience with various dependent projects potentially being executed with different methodologies.
  • Vendor Management
    • Experience with Vendor contracts managment
    • Experience with and Vendor package implementations
    • Strong experience managing internal, external and hybrid teams
  • Technical:
    • Prior experience managing technology roadmap projects
    • General knowledge and understanding of technology field and technology projects
    • Understanding of core infrastructure
    • Experience in managing technology infrastructure projects - upgrades, hardware implementations (server, network, storage), data center migrations, disaster recovery implementations, etc.
    • Experience in implementing enterprise platforms such as Citrix, SQL/Oracle database, SharePoint, etc

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage projects that involve multiple vendors and complex integrations
  • Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables
  • Develop and track full scale project plans including external integration points and dependencies
  • Establish and coordinate project teams
  • Direct and oversee project team
  • Define project tasks and manage project resource allocation
  • Manage project budgets
  • Identify project risks and issues and develop and execute mitigation plans
  • Manage project changes to achieve project goals
  • Monitor and report project status to all stakeholders
  • Provide guidance and direction to external vendors as applicable
  • Participate in quality audits
  • Develop Requests for Information/ Proposals (RFI/RFP) for external services as applicable
  • Demonstrate leadership, and strong organizational, presentation and communication skills

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher required
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) and Agile Certifications required
  • Minimum 5 years of project management experience
  • Experience with vendor management and vendor package implementations
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and Project
  • Experience with Microsoft Project Server, ServiceNow and Jira a plus
  • Strong technical background a plus
  • Certification or a degree in computer science, information systems or engineering would be a plus
