Volt’s client, a leading specialist in the development and manufacture of life saving medical devices, is looking for qualified candidates to work at their Lake Oswego, OR location. If hired on, this company offers Medical, Dental, 401K and weekends off.
Job Responsibilities/Duties:
- Set up and operate automated equipment and manual assembly equipment
- Work independently, troubleshoot and solve problems with limited direction
- Quickly and efficiently set up workstations and prep multiple assembly lines for next shop order
- Responsible for routine maintenance and monitoring performance of tools and systems
- Work under minimal direction and exercise judgment. Make routine recommendations to resolve technical issues
- Provide written and verbal summaries of process, design, and component issues encountered during assembly
Production Specialist Qualifications:
- Must have previous circuit board assembly, inspection and soldering experience
- 1+ years of experience with machine operation required
- High attention to detail
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to work in a clean room environment for entirety of 10-hour shift
- Computer proficiency
- Ability to lift 20 pounds required
- Positions requires pre-employment screenings
Education:
- Associates Degree preferred (but not required)
