Shipping and Receiving Coordinator
$16.00 to $18.00/hour based on experience
Day Shift, M-F 7:30am to 4:30pm
Temporary to Hire
Volt is looking for individuals with previous warehouse, inventory and shipping/receiving experience for our client located in Vancouver, WA. This is a temp to hire position!! Once hired on, this client offers health benefits, 401K, and free coffee. You also receive 2 weeks of vacation your first year!
This individual will, under the direction of the immediate supervisor, oversee the shipping, receiving, routing and verification of all equipment. Organizes, distributes and verifies the work of others and participates in their training. Maintains, updates and verifies accuracy of records. Ensures processing and forwarding of merchandise. Prepares merchandise to be returned to suppliers or delivered to customers. Handles all claims and queries with suppliers, freight companies and customs brokers.
Job Responsibilities/Duties:
- Inventory Counts
- Receive shipments, ship parts and units
- Clean and organize warehouse
- Stock incoming inventory
- Light machining (will train)
- Assist others as needed
- Picking and pulling parts
- Overtime required as needed

Qualifications:
- Computer proficiency
- 2+years of warehouse experience
- Self-motivated and enthusiastic
- Organized and forward thinking
- Previous forklift, pallet jack experience
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs, stand, bend, twist, and lift throughout entire shift
- Position requires pre-employment screening
- Must have clean driving record
Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
