The Data & Program Services Analyst Senior has more of a programming orientation than the previous levels of this job family. Working under general direction, this position formulates and defines system scope and develops solutions requiring analysis and research to implement Production and Cycle time goals. Provide production support by formulating and defining system scope and objectives through research and fact-finding to write code and modify internal business systems. Has a strong understanding of CoreLogic products in order to understand how data is to be used, needs to be analyzed and recognize changes in industry reporting. Extremely robust knowledge of many varied data sets and the ability to identify potential problems and provide solutions. Ability to quickly become proficient in new data content. This position may also act as a Lead within the work group.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities

  • Display comprehensive ability to analyze, evaluate and/or manipulate a majority of input and data content to ensure quality and compliance before going to the next production level. Create or modify moderately complex to complex applications programs from detailed specifications. Code, test, debug, document, install and maintain those programs. Take on larger, more complicated projects. Take on new counties or data sets not previously worked with.
  • Provide appropriate analysis, follow up, notification, and solutions to managers related to abnormal job termination and resolution.
  • Analyze data using database development tools (e.g. ETL Tools, Fox Pro, Access, etc.), as well as proprietary application and data analysis techniques to prepare data for input into final product. (wording needs to be updated for programming -type skills)
  • Special projects include but are not limited to custom reports/data development, process enhancement, product development, and specialized product support for national and key accounts.
  • Assume a leadership role with other team members. May take on a more formal mentoring role, assigning work/delegating requests, and training. Assist team members in resolving issues. Identify and facilitate group training and mentoring sessions.
  • Independently evaluate and document results using reports and tools to ensure data quality.


  • High School diploma or GED required; BS/BA in Computer Science, Information Systems or related area preferred
  • Formalized training in Access, FoxPro, Excel

  • Seven years of related experience. Experience is more technical in nature than prior levels of this job family.
  • Technical Skills: ETL Tools, SQL, 3rd, 4th Generation Languages, FoxPro, Access, use of Data Warehousing tools

  • Has development and support skills in at least one system environment, i.e., mainframe, client server, midrange, PC/LAN or stand-alone PC.
  • Understand system development life cycle; demonstrate awareness of established capacity thresholds.
  • Demonstrate awareness of how assigned responsibilities relate to capacity.
  • Has a thorough understanding of both in-house and third party software to analyze and process data.
  • Strong communication skills in order to facilitate interaction with internal and/or external customer to ensure understanding on key issues.
  • Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of our database, data, processes and product lines.
  • Strong analytical skills -advanced level experience with data, file layouts, file formats, strong process thinking skills
  • Working understanding and experience with ETL tools and SQL
  • Experience in multiple system environment
