Based in London [Paris], the Enterprise Strategy Executive assumes a key leadership role in the
executive program initiative in salesforce.com’s European field marketing organization. This Executive
is expected to lead the expansion of an impactful network of executive Salesforce advocates and the
delivery of a scalable executive program, effective in reaching corporate decision makers & influencers
through appropriate executive events and conversations.
We are looking for outstanding individuals with a strong track record in leadership roles and ideally a
background in both marketing and technology. The best candidates will have experience in working with
executive management on transformation efforts, especially in helping non-technical people understand
how technology can enable business transformation.
The Enterprise Strategy Executive should be able to clearly articulate their excitement in and deep
understanding of:
• Strategic business processes and how they are evolving in light of consumerization, digitization,
industry transformation
• Opportunities and threats for particular industry segments and corporations and how social,
mobile, cloud technologies can enable strategic responses for corporate decision makers
Responsibilities
• Develop and implement strategy for a successful journey of engagement for regional decision
makers and influencers as part of an expanding salesforce.com executive community
• Grow and nurture a network of connected executive advocates as well as industry and academic
advisors, connectors and influencers
• Establish presence as a visible spokesperson, credible domain expert and respected executive
“sparring partner” for social, mobile, cloud based business transformation
• Deliver engaging executive conversations by conceptualizing and orchestrating the right mix and
format of events, content and dialog to achieve well defined business goals
• Partner closely with Salesforce Sales, Customers-for-Life (CFL) and Marketing in formulating
business goals and program strategy and in executing related tactics. Align and coordinate with
key stakeholders such as Product Marketing, Industry and Partner business units as well as with
external partners, advisors, speakers etc.
• Collaborate closely with peer enterprise strategy executives and with executive program
management, both in region and across Europe, to establish a scalable and effective executive
program organization
Experience/Skills Required
• Broad-based business, marketing and technology professional with 10+ years of leadership and
management experience with an impressive record of achieved results
• Extensive experience presenting to and collaborating with C-level executives and senior
corporate management. Strong network of executive relationships is a definitive plus.
• Domain expertise in social, mobile, cloud technologies, enterprise software, marketing, field
marketing, product marketing
• High-energy, self-starting and creative executive with a proven track record of defining and
delivering new initiatives
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills, collaboration and networking skills
• Business degree and ideally MS or MBA
