French Language Shared Service Representative - Decatur, IL
This is a full-time non-exempt level position. Flexible work hours - 40 hours/week.
The NA Shared Services Center has an opening for a full-time representative in the Decatur office that is fluent in the French language. This job will have flexible hours able to accommodate most schedules. The successful candidate will be engaged in a wide variety of activities focused on controlling transactional services. The position will be involved with many of ADM's accounting systems, along with other systems used by controlling colleagues. The level of work will depend on the abilities and experience of the candidate.
Experience :
High School Diploma
Associates Degree Preferred

Job Requirements
Technical and Performance Skills Desired

  • Must be able to read, write, and speak French fluently.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, MS Outlook, etc.)
Maximo and IBM systems are a plus.

  • Provide outstanding customer service for ADM's Internal and External Customers by efficiently executing transactional processes.
  • Provide outstanding customer service to our French Canadian speaking locations and vendors.
  • Assist in processing invoices and transactions on behalf of locations in Quebec.
  • Effectively plan to define outcomes, identify changes, and implement solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with all ADM policies and procedures.
  • Recommend, develop, and implement process and system improvements to improve efficiency and strengthen controls.
  • Interaction with multiple levels of accounting, IT, Internal Audit, and commercial and operational management.
  • Entering Accounts Payable Invoices - including general ledger coding, purchase order information, vendor information, and appropriate authorizations.
  • Proficiently identify essential information required for invoice processing - including tax calculations, prepare payments in applicable currency, and send necessary documents with payment.
  • Log invoices/purchase orders errors to report back to management.
  • Efficiently and expediently accomplish set goals for invoice processing
  • Work to identify and correct invoice errors

Shared Services Representatives will potentially have responsibility for:

  • Preparing, Scanning, Indexing, & Verifying Documents.
  • Invoicing customers on behalf of ADM Sales groups.
  • Performing the reconciliation of inventory and bank statements
  • Applying cash in the accounts receivable process
  • Preparation of various monthly reports, distribution, and filing.
  • Additional job functions within the Shared Services group could be available based on the skillset of the successful candidate.
