UK Service Administrator (18544/001) Wokingham, England

A temporary position is now open for a 6 - 12 month contract, offering £11.50 per hour on a full time (37.5 hr) or part time (20 hour) basis.

 

The role is based in Wokingham

 

 

 

UK Service Administrator

 

Service Administrator will primarily support the Service Manager and Service Engineers in the day-to-day administration and shipping functions of the Service Centre. Where appropriate the Service Administrator may also be required to support other departments with shipping and administration functions.

Main responsibilities include:

  • • Issuing service quotations to customers.

  • • Raising and issuing Return Authorisation numbers on Salesforce CRM system.

  • • Entering sales order information on ORACLE Production Database.

  • • Raising purchase orders on ORACLE Production Database.

  • • Receiving, unpacking and completing receiving paperwork for: - the delivery of instruments for repair. - the delivery of spare parts. - the delivery of instruments returned after repair at US manufacturing facility.

  • • Packing instruments after repair, preparing shipping documents and arranging collection by courier if required.

  • • Packing instruments required to be exported to USA manufacturing facility, preparing export documentation, shipping documentation and arranging collection by courier or freight agent if required.

  • • Invoicing service sales orders when complete and sending invoices to the customer via email or post as instructed on the customer purchase order.

  • • Expediting quarantined repairs waiting for customer authorisation to proceed.

  • • Expediting overdue repairs and spare part orders from US manufacturing facility.

  • • Issuing import clearance instructions for goods being imported to the UK for the ORTEC UK Service Centre.

 

Responsibilities for other departments may include:

  • • Shipping and receiving of sales demonstration equipment, sales literature, promotional items and exhibition equipment, including the preparation of shipping documents as required.

  • • Entering sales order information and raising purchase orders on ORACLE Production Database to cover staff absence.
