Atlanta insurance defense law firm has an immediate need for a Nurse Paralegal who has at least one year of law firm experience. This is a fabulous opportunity to join a nationally recognized firm and work with an exceptionally talented group of attorneys and paralegals!
To be considered, candidates must have at least one year of experience as a Legal Nurse Consultant in a law firm setting, a minimum of five years of clinical experience, a bachelor’s degree in nursing and a current RN license.
Responsibilities will include obtaining and researching medical records and other data relevant to cases, organizing medical records and preparing medical chronologies, participating in witness and expert interviews, communicating medical information to attorneys and paralegals, retaining expert witnesses for trials, preparing medical exhibits for trials and other required duties related to the position.
Successful Nurse Paralegal candidates will have exceptional organizational skills, a stable work history and solid references and have strong verbal and written communication skills. Team attitude a must for this busy firm!!
