They have 3 technical centres and an ambitious growth plan for the rest of 2017 & the whole of 2018

Job description: 

You will be leading, coaching, motivating and inspiring a team of 22 dedicated technicians in the R&D Protoshop and the car workshop where automatic transmissions, hybrid and full electric powertrains are assembled, inspected and build into cars. 

You coordinate and define the different activities within your team, according to the skill level of each one in your team.

 You will define and optimize processes and workflows in these areas, monitor the team’s performance and report on metrics 

You co-operate with internal departments such as New project and application Development, operations, quality and purchasing.

You organize technical trainings and support to guarantee the expected competence level of your team and the sharing of knowledge and expertise. 

You will be responsible for a good communication flow with all the stakeholders. 

You ensure the quality of the performed efforts of your team. • You will report to the R&D test centre manager.   

Profile: • You have an engineering degree (electromechanical or mechanical) or equivalent by experience. • 

You have experience with lean manufacturing (preferably in an automotive environment). • 

You are a strong team player and an excellent people manager. • Thanks to your clear communication skills and good knowledge of English, you are proficient in reporting knowledge and results. 

You are a perseverant person with a goal-oriented and analytical mindset. 

You have a strong Q-mindset, you are familiar with 5S, housekeeping, preventive maintenance and safety regulations.
