Controls Engineer – Functional Safety Job description:
You will join a team of control strategy and modelling experts within the Controls Group. Development of functional safety technical work products for software design (ISO26262-6)
Supporting functional safety technical work products and activities in the organization (e.g. hazard analysis and risk assessment, item definition, functional safety concept, technical safety requirements,
FTA's, FMEA's, and other safety analyses for safety requirements); Development of software according to the Model-Based Design processes (modelling, validation, prototyping, calibration & testing).
Development of test specifications for safety requirements; Supporting bench/HIL tests and system/vehicle validation of functional safety requirements;
Profile: Bachelor’s degree or higher in the field of Mechatronics, Computer, Systems, Software or Electrical Engineering 3+ years of functional safety experience from automotive or related field In-depth knowledge of ISO26262 or equivalent standards
Experience in electronics/ systems/ (model-based/embedded) software design and development Working level knowledge of C-code/ Matlab/Simulink You proceed according to a good methodology in development and problem-solving.
Preferably you are able to work with electronic test equipment to trace hardware/software integration problems.
You are well organized and have strong analytical and communication skills. You are an excellent team player.
