About the Company:
Opportunity to work for one of Australia’s leading retail organisations as an SQL / ETL Developer on an exciting BI transformation project. The initial 6 month contract will involve assisting with the design and development of an enterprise data warehouse with the possibility of a long term contract extension (24 months) or a chance to move into a permanent role.
About the Role:
- Design and build data mappings between the source and target
- Build BI reports as per the business requirements
- Provide technical support in the development and delivery of BI solutions
- Assist in the ongoing development and maintenance of the data warehouse
- Define ETL rules
Skills and Experience:
- 4+ years’ experience working with BI/DWH platforms and solutions
- Previous experience in a consulting
- Strong ETL SSIS skills
- Excellent understanding of enterprise data warehouse modelling
- Highly skilled in SQL scripting
- Exposure to Amazon Redshift or Teradata is advantageous
- A degree in the relevant field is desired
- Great communication skills both written and verbal
