RPA Solution Architect

RPA Solution Architect Summary:

Signature Consultants is seeking an RPA Solution Architect for an opportunity in Charlotte, NC. The Solution Architect will provide leadership and deep technical expertise in all aspects of solution design and application development for specific business environments. He or she will focus on setting technical direction on groups of applications and similar technologies as well as taking responsibility for technically robust solutions encompassing all business, architecture, and technology constraints. May be responsible for coordinating teams to accomplish development in a matrixed organization. This role typically requires 5-7 years of experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, development, testing and implementation of RPA bot’s that will interact with multiple third party applications
  • Identify opportunities for improvement in existing process and automate the process using RPA software
  • Fine tune performance and operation issues that arise with RPA Bots
  • Provide on-going operational support including upgrades, defect fixes and any process change activities
  • Function as integrators between business needs and technology solutions, helping to create technology solutions to meet clients’ business needs
  • Individual contributor on a high performance team built on trust and transparency. Primarily providing thought leadership and guidance to clients on identifying automation use cases, designing solutions, complying with bank policies and standards
  • Provides thought-leadership to fellow team members and business partners across business and technical project dimensions solving complex business requirements
  • Participate and contribute in design discussions
  • Ensures delivered solutions are realized in time frame committed
  • Provides support and technical governance focused on one or more projects
  • Act as the mentor to all team members on their assigned project tasks
  • Build strong relationships and influence on team members

Required Skills:

  • Must have demonstrable hands-on RPA tool experience
  • Total IT experience - 6 years
  • 4-5 years of experience in RPA tools like OpenSpan (Pega Robotics), BluePrism, WorkFusion, etc.
  • 2-3 years of extensive knowledge in Pega Robotics 8.0 (formerly OpenSpan) - Windows/Web/Mainframes/Text adapter with OpenSpan. Preferably in financial domain
  • Understanding of RPA infrastructure setup
  • Good understanding of assisted vs unassisted robotics implementations
  • Knowledge of Citrix environment with RPA Tools
  • Knowledge of OCR libraries or tools is a plus
  • Prior C#.NET or Java experience (Visual Studio 2015/2010, Eclipse)
  • Exposure to Business Process Management (BPM) platforms (Pega, Appian, etc.)
  • Individual contributor who can deliver quality software on time and who can contribute in design discussions
  • Specialized knowledge of financial industry
  • Creative and flexible in identifying technical solutions to resolve business problems

Desired Skills:

  • Expert level knowledge of MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Project, and MS Visio
  • High level communication skills and be able to produce documentation to a high standard
  • Experience in working with matrix organizations and handling ambiguity and unstructured environment
  • Solid understanding of the SDLC (Systems Development Life Cycle) and the requirement management lifecycle
  • Experience working in Agile Framework
  • Exposure to DevOps (CI/CD) and collaborative tools (JIRA, Rally, BitBucket, GIT, Jenkins, MSBuild, etc.)
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, time management and organizational skills are required
  • Change and conflict management skills, ability to influence and negotiate with others to meet project deadlines
  • Ability to build trusted relationships with business partners, team members and managers to develop solutions
