- Context
Within the Optronics’s Customer Support & Services Centre, you are involved in handing the availability of equipment “Cameras” used by the client in UAE. Under the FOS contract, including OLM & ILM support (1first & 2nd Level), you represent Thales LAS Fr (OME) to the customer based on Zayed Military City (Ahu Dhabi)
- Main Assignments
As such, under the following on support program, you will contribute to the availability of the cameras closer to the users.
The technical assistance should provide support, assistance and expertise to local staff at both an operational exploitation level as well as with the maintenance of optronic equipment (OME). The technical assistant will manage the logistical aspects. He will advise the local technicians and carry out maintenance on Thales LAS Fr / OME products in different sites of the country.
The duration of the technical assistance on site is at least 2 years with an option for an additional year.
PROFILE DESCRIPTION
Experience: minimum of 5/10 years’ experience
Education: Engineering School/University Degree
Managerial: The success of this assignment depends mainly on the technical and personal involvement of the Field Support Engineer in the Operations; aspects of communication between various military and industry stakeholders are also imperative to the success of this mission. The transverse management is done with local support managers, the Head of the Local Industrial Work and OME / Elancourt

The perimeters of the job cause you to deal with different corporate entities, departments and clients. You must have good interpersonal skills, enjoy exchanges and be able to reason effectively. You will be representing Thales LAS
Techniques: (Analog/Digital) electronics, optical concept, system integration, use of test benches, report writing
Military field knowledge
Languages: English and French (Both Written and Spoken)
