Director - Quality Management (PCK336-42793) Clark, New Jersey

 

This role is responsible for generating project syntheses on various topics related to quality to support North American L’Oreal manufacturing facilities. Also acts as the Quality Management representative for CIQ ( Corporate Industrial Quality).

Responsibilities:
Provide monthly quality data analysis and summary to Purchasing, TD and Plants
Act as resident quality expert and consultant to all Industrial Quality groups within manufacturing
Provide  plant assistance to quality improvement projects
Serve as Management Representative for the CIQ Quality System with the following specific duties:
Ensure the IQ system objectives are established and reviewed regularly
Conduct internal and specific external quality audits
Establish quality record keeping activities for CIQ Document Controller and reporting systems in Quality Management Group
Provide necessary ISO quality system training for CIQ staff
Ensure that customer requirements are determined and fulfilled with the aim of enhancing customer satisfaction
Participate in the improvement of the IQ System
Participate in Management Review Meetings
Work to identify and share best quality practices across the Zone
Provide training and support for new quality initiatives
Provide expertise related to cGMP for the Zone
Provide expertise in the area of quality system for Distribution
Serve as facilitator of the Quality Council
Perform other duties as necessary or required

Requirements:
BS in physical science or engineering
7 or more years of experience shared between Quality and manufacturing backgrounds in the cosmetic and/or pharmaceutical industry required
3-5 years of management experience within a manufacturing or quality environment preferred
