Assistant Site Manager - New Build Housing - North West up to £38,000 + package
About the company
Working with a rapidly growing leading National Housing developer who has a keen focus on building communities for all types of buyers. Following a successful year, they are looking to grow their Construction team to play a vital part of their growth and development for the North West division. With a strong pipeline for 2019 they need driven managers in the making to join the Construction department and be an integral part of their expansion. You will be on a clear development plan for progression and should already be able to manage a site successfully.
About the role
You will be a key member of the developing Construction team reporting directly to the Site Manager running the site assisting with his day to day duties. As Assistant Site Manager you will be responsible for maintaining health and safety, overseeing the sub-contractors and coordinating labour and trades to make sure the site finishes on time.
What you need to succeed
- Previous experience working with a recognised house builder (3+ years) on site, assisting a Site Manager.
- SSSTS or SMSTS
- First Aid
- CSCS
- Strong management and organisation skills as well as a keen passion for construction.
- Hands-on approach to management and be able to communicate across all levels adapting to the role and environment.
