I'm currently working with a recognised medium-sized contractor looking to expand both their North West & Yorkshire offices.
The company is rapidly developing and offering a complete construction service that incorporates projects from £500K – £10m in Design and Build, New Build, Fit-out and Refurbishment in all of the following sectors:
- Healthcare
- Education
- Leisure
- Commercial
- Retail
- Industrial
- Residential
- Listed Building
About the role
Your duties will include:
- Working on estimates with varying building projects up to £10m
- Working on estimates with varying building projects up to £10m
- Working on both traditional plan and specification/design and build tenders
- Preparation of material and sub-contract enquiries
- Preparation of builder’s quantities (Bluebeam software currently used)
- Analytical pricing
- Material and sub-contract comparisons
- Presentation of nett building costs for adjudication
You will need
- Previous extensive estimating experience.
- Proven track record of estimating various projects in size and type.
- Ideally the right candidate will be familiar with using ConQuest estimating software (not essential as full training can be provided)
