This role within the Enterprise Application Architecture team in Nokia IT is responsible for creating Nokia's future application landscape. This role provides strategic direction and leadership in the area of demand supply planning, logistics and manufacturing.
You will be provide the blueprints and roadmaps for enterprise application capabilities in Nokia, and the patterns and standards guiding their deployment. This will be delivered by managing a long term view of business and technology and ensure that Nokia IT is delivering a fit-for-purpose inventory of application platforms that balances innovation, performance, risk and cost.
Key deliverables will include:
•Providing suitably detailed Enterprise Architecture blueprints, roadmaps and standards which can be clearly articulated to business and technical stakeholders.
•Identifying opportunities for creating new and improved shared platforms and reusable components leading concept definition up to program initiation
Success will be measured in a number of different dimensions, including satisfaction of business and IT stakeholders, feedback from Solution Architects on the quality and level of detail of the Enterprise Architecture, improved speed of program initiation and execution, standardisation and re-use of technology portfolio, as well as the ability of Nokia to execute its strategic aims and objectives.
Ideally you will have a broad architectural background across all architecture domains with full life-cycle experience of delivering supply-chain solutions in a Fortune-500 business, having operated globally. A working knowledge of TOGAF is an advantage and you will be expected to be an opinion former with experience working with senior business and IT stakeholders.
You will be working with a wide-range of Nokia employees, industry analysts and vendors to deliver high quality technology solutions and ensure that Nokia IT's technology solutions are clearly and appropriately articulated to key stakeholders. |
