PHP Developer

Birmingham - £40,000 - £45,000 + Benefits

PHP Developer with strong OO PHP, MVC and MySQL experience and an interest in working in an environment that promotes Continuous Delivery sought by one of the UK’s leading specialist ecommerce businesses to join their brand-new Birmingham development and digital marketing team.

As a PHP Developer you will join their expanding team as they look to continue their investment in technology with new features being developed and established systems improved with re-writes and complete overhaul in the latest PHP and JavaScript technologies. If you haven’t used Angular, Express or Node before in a commercial setting but want to then this would be the perfect opportunity.

The ideal PHP Developer would have:

• Solid experience with OO PHP
• Knowledge of MVC design and experience with relevant frameworks
• Good experience with the whole LAMP stack – strong with MySQL
• Experience with Continuous Integration and Deployment – Jenkins, Octopus Deploy
• Good understanding of Version Control – GIT
• Quality Front End Web Development experience – HTML, CSS, JavaScript
• Exposure to or interest in JavaScript – MEAN stack (Angular, Express, Node)
• Knowledge of Unit Testing
