A rapidly growing and well established IT consultancy is looking for a full time Devops Engineer to take responsibility for the implementation of applications’ build, release, deployment, and configuration activities.

The role:

• Build automated deployments
• Contributes to and review deployment plans; schedules the installation of new modules, upgrades and fixes to the production environment
• Plan ongoing routine application maintenance tasks
• Establish requirements, methods and procedures for routine maintenance
• Oversee and assist in production support
• Lead the technical evaluation and selection process for improving performance by overseeing gap analysis studies, feasible alternative solutions, and recommending and/or approving the scope of modifications.
• Work with vendors to resolve problems and develop solutions
• Identify continuity/disaster recovery risks and mitigation plans.

The successful person has:

• 2+ years in a similar role
• IT Tertiary education
• Skills in programming and highly developed communication skills
• Excellent AWS working knowledge
• Excellent CI/CD and automation skillset (primarily Jenkins, Bamboo)
• Windows server and Azure
• Ansible
• Docker, ECS
• Knowledge and experience on performance tuning and designing scalable infrastructure
