DNA of our client: ShowMeTheMoney (www.smtm.co) is a platform for salary market consult and strategic career suggestions to help executives to define their professional future. As a corporate tool, companies enter salaries and benefits in detail to compare them with the market, so that they can work on strategy retention and career development for their employees.

DNA of the position: In charge of a global position, anywhere in the world.

Your main responsibilities will be:

• Build and improve products to use Ruby on Rails and / or other platforms and open source technologies.

• Create and maintain databases of efficient and scalable data (we use MySQL)

• Use git (GitHub) to manage code changes , create branches of new features and do code review using Pull –requests.

• Participate in all phases of software development - brainstorming for fixes and code errors.

• The writing code performance and well tested.

• Discuss the product requirements with the development team and product planning team.

• Learn about teamwork and maintain code quality , show a solid knowledge of software architecture.

DNA of a successful applicant: 

The ideal professional should have experience in web application development, be able to create well-structured and re- usable code (DRY until the end), manage the use of TDD in development (use RSpec), have knowledge of Javascript (use jQuery) and SASS. Ability to prioritize and make decisions without the need to be supervised by someone else.

Technologies needed: Ruby on Rails, CSS, HTML, JavaScript, MySQL, Git and Github.

Knowledge will be assessed on: Digital Ocean and Development for Mobile Devices.
