Head of SRE/DevOps (Help Fight Terrorism)
We are seeking a Head of SRE/DevOps to lead and grow a hugely talented SRE and Ops team building Machine Learning Cyber Security and Anti-Money Laundering platforms to help fight terrorism and large scale online fraud.
The team have just received a huge series B funding round and have grown from 15 to over 200 people over the last three years, aiming to be the next British tech 'Unicorn' (they are the third fastest growing tech group in the UK, only Google and Facebook are in front) and this is a huge opportunity to join in a leadership role as they are really taking off.
As the Head of SRE/DevOps you will grow and lead a currently small, but quickly growing, SRE team. Your role will remain technical, devising future SRE strategy and leading the evangelisation of reliability engineering methods, process and tooling across the engineering group, looking at best practice and continual improvement.
Skills required for the Head of SRE/DevOps:
- Proven managerial experience; leading engineering, SRE, DevOps or Cloud teams
- Strong technical knowledge across SRE or DevOps tooling which could including AWS, Docker/Kubernetes, Terraform and development/scripting in Python, Java or Golang
- Genuine passion for improving Ops process and methods and evangelising the importance of SRE across engineering
