SCIENCE TECHNICIAN URGENTLY NEEDED IN RICHMOND (SMST123) London, England

A Star Teachers are currently working with a lovely school situated in the London borough of Richmond.
They are looking for a Science Technician for a September 2018 start and are interviewing as soon as possible. The School are looking to take the successful applicant on a permanent basis also.
Successful applicants must possess the following;
• Ability to work proactively in managing the safe and efficient daily running of technical services to the science department, use of resources and space
• High level of general laboratory technical skills and the ability to respond technically to changes in course content and teaching method
• Ability to form and maintain appropriate professional relationships and boundaries with children and young people
• Ability to manage systems of acquisition, processing maintaining and repairing stock
• Ability to organise own tasks with minimum supervision and to set and work to agreed targets
• Ability to communicate effectively with pupils and persons at all levels.

* You must hold QTS or a UK recognised equivalent teaching qualification
* This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
