SUMMARY OF BASIC FUNCTION:

The Financial Analyst is responsible for the planning/budgeting/forecast cycles, and month-end close processes for ICS headquarters (HQ).  Maintains key business metrics in accordance with company requirements.  Develop sustainable processes and procedures that ensure accuracy and integrity of management reporting and analysis.  Contribute to the credibility of the Finance Dept through timeliness, accuracy, reliability, team spirit, and value-added internal customer service.  Respond quickly and accurately to ad-hoc management requests.  Utilize financial knowledge to contribute to operational and financial goals of the Company as a whole.  Support a culture of compliance and ethics


ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES

 

·Responsible for all activities related to Company headquarters, which included the following:

 

1.Perform month-end closing (book monthly journal entries, prepare balance sheet reconciliations, analyze expenses, etc.)

 

2.Prepare monthly forecast for HQ cost centers

 

3.Prepare monthly financial reports with analysis for HQ management

 

4.Prepare operating plan and budget

 

 

 

·Maintain and update Cannon, LLC HQ SOX documentations

 

·Assist in internal Sarbanes-Oxley audits as required

 

·Develop understanding of key business drivers underlying data trends and employ the knowledge to improve forecasting accuracy

 

·Proactive problem-solving skills with focus on process improvement and automation

 

·Collaborate closely with finance and accounting staff to support financial reporting

 

·Perform data extraction and organization to provide meaningful analysis as requested by management

 

·Contribute to the development and maintenance of necessary models, tools, processes and procedures to achieve efficient and effective analysis
Assist with various ad-hoc reporting



QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Experience, Computer, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

 

·Bachelor Degree in Accounting or Finance from 4-year accredited institution or equivalent

 

·3-5 years previous experience in accounting and/or financial analyst position

 

·Strong PC skills with intermediate level knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint

 

·Experience using SAP and/or Hyperion/HFM is a plus but not required

 

·Detail-oriented with ability to organize workload and independently manage multiple projects

 

·Second language (Spanish/Chinese/German) a plus, but no must

 

·Team player with strong communication skills
