HR Generalist (9748) Cleveland, Ohio

Provides and supports the Human Resource Organization in a variety of activities within the Ohio team. Works closely with the HRBP’s and Management in the implementation of corporate policies related to human resources, organizational and employee development at the business unit or division level.  Screening resumes, applications and assisting the Ohio team with job postings and recruitment through our ATS. May maintain records for EEO and affirmative action reporting requirements. May assist in the formulation of the Human Resources department objectives, personnel policies and procedures. May assist in employee relations issues.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
 

  • Provides support in streamlining HR policies, systems and procedures to enhance productivity and responsiveness
  • Coordinates staff communication and events
  • Processes paperwork for hiring, on-boarding and terminations
  • Supports the administration of various HR programs
  • Coordinates/Conducts New Hire Orientation as needed
  • Handles details of a highly confidential and critical nature
  • Provide calendar scheduling and internal/external meeting logistics including, web-ex meetings, and global conference calls
  • Attends staff meetings on/offsite and captures key data points and distributes as needed
  • Complies with company quality management systems, policies and procedures
  • Provides mentorship if applicable
  • Additional duties/responsibilities according to business needs

 

Requirements: Required Preferred

Education: High School Diploma AA degree
