Principal Software Engineer
.NET / C# / MVC
We are currently looking for a Principal Software Engineer for an organisation who operates globally across multiple disciplines including finance, technology, automotive, defense, aerospace and energy. Due to an influx of projects our client is looking to bolster their team with a senior software engineer who has C# and .NET development experience. The organisation usually work on two week sprints with a release every two months.
Location: Croydon; commutable from Mitcham, Caterham, Epsom, Oxted and surrounding locations
Salary: Circa £55,000 – £70,000 + Bonus, Pension and other benefits
Responsibility of Principal Software Engineer:
- Start working on a MVC Web application
- Participating as part of a small project team the Senior Software Engineer will be focused on designing, coding, testing and delivering applications
- Establishing program and project timelines as well as ensured they are delivered
- Reporting on project status, identifying issues and correcting them
- Driving best practices within development, test automation, integration and automatic deployments
- Leading and mentoring individuals
- Be willing to participate in all parts of the software development life-cycle
Require Skills for Principal Software Engineer
- Ideally degree educated in Computer Science or similar
- Ideally circa 10 years + experience within software development
- Through knowledge of C#, .NET
- Ideally experience with .NET CORE
- Ideally experience with UI
- Experience with agile development methodology
- Ideally experienced with Frontend Technologies such as Vue, React, HTML, CSS or Angular
- Experience leading or mentoring individuals
