Job Description:
Our client, a Portland software company, is looking for a Front-End Web Developer to help them on an upcoming project!
The Front-End Developer will be responsible for:
• Developing new user-facing features
• Building reusable code and libraries for future use
• Translating UX/UI design and wireframes to code
• Optimizing sites for maximum speed
• Collaborating with other team members
The Front-End Developer must have:
• Basic understanding of CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS
• Proficient in JavaScript and jQuery
• Good understanding of frameworks, such as AngularJS, KnockoutJS, BackboneJS, DustJS, DurandalJS etc.
• Knowledge of AJAX a plus
• Basic knowledge of Photoshop
• Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
• Understanding of SEO principles and how to adhere them
• Experience with content management systems integration • Experience with Mura CMS is a plus!
• Minimum of 3 years in a front end development role
