Salary: GBP26000 - GBP33000 per annum + Car Allowance

Key Responsibilities:

This role has responsibility for driving and managing sales growth through their Internet Routes to Market, from lead generation to project completion.

The role will involve working closely with the General Manager and the other European Businesses in the group, making a direct contribution to our strategic development.

 

The Role will focus on 5 key areas:

  • Development & Management of the UK Internet business
  • Building repeat customer relationships and delivering first class customer service
  • Visiting customers to determine the best safety solution for their requirements
  • Coordinating with our installation teams to ensure projects are completed on time
  • Creating a Solutions Model that can be rolled out through the European Businesses.

 

Role and Duties:

  • Maintaining relationships with internal departments and ensuring products are shipped on time
  • Delivery of personal monthly sales targets
  • Designing safety systems compliant to the relevant standards
  • Attending site and performing complex site surveys
  • Issuing of Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS)
  • Organizing on-site labour to conduct installations professionally
  • Presenting monthly reports and other information to management and staff
  • Identifying key accounts and maintaining relationships
  • Following up on customer leads, maintaining control of quotations and relationships
  • Maintaining a detailed knowledge of products and services offered by the business
  • Selling products and services in person and over the telephone
  • Keeping up to date with market trends and the actions of competitors
  • Maintaining a positive attitude that inspires co-workers and clients to grow the business.

 

Skills & Experience required:

  • A minimum of 2 years technical sales experience
  • Numerate and analytical with excellent attention to detail
  • Must be a confident self-starter, able to work on their own initiative
  • Able to work effectively in a small team
  • Good telephone manner; confident and willing to deal with customers
  • Conversant with Microsoft Office
  • Must be prepared to travel throughout the UK and overseas when required
  • Full driving licence.
