Refrigeration Engineer (Design)

£45,000 TO £55,000 plus bonus and benefits (depending on relevant experience)

DCS Recruitment are recruitment partners to a global organization who manufactures a range of highly technical, electro-mechanical products for a variety of industries.

The Role

As a Refrigeration Engineer you'll be expected to help Design refrigeration systems and in doing so;

• Perform theoretical analysis and design for refrigeration systems.
• Perform piping, component and subsystem design.
• Assist in the mechanical and frame design.
• Transfer system designs into regular production.
• Troubleshoot and support current and future refrigeration systems.
• Create and maintain design, troubleshooting and service documentation

The Person

The successful Refrigeration Engineer will have;

• At least 5 years of experiences in design and development of refrigeration systems.
• Ability to perform theoretical analysis and design for refrigeration systems.
• Experience in cascade refrigeration systems and Variable Speed Compressors preferred.
• Extensive hands-on experience and understanding of refrigeration piping design, components and systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot and support current and future refrigeration systems.
• Ability to clearly communicate concepts, and if necessary liaise directly with customers.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Good skills at creating and maintaining design, troubleshooting and service documentation.
• Experience in HVAC including dehumidification preferred. Ability to use SolidWorks desirable but not mandatory.
