Internal Sales Executive

Salary: GBP18000 - GBP19000 per annum + bonus

A growing business in the Shropshire area is looking to for a driven sales professional to join their business development team.

To make outbound calls to a range of customer profiles including existing, new and lapsed customers, who currently have a product or service with the company, customers who have purchased from the business previously and prospective new customers.

To produce customer quotations and process sales order via inbound calls, e-mails and the Web Site, together with the provision of product information and query / enquiry handling in a professional manner, ensuring excellent customer service excellence is achieved.

 

Principal duties:

  • Customer Quotations
  • Outbound Calls
  • Handling and processing incoming sales orders
  • Providing product information and cross selling other products as applicable
  • Establishing and building a rapport with the customers
  • Resolving queries in a timely and professional manner
  • Work towards and achieve personal and team targets and deadlines
  • Occasional staff cover in the Showroom as and when required
  • Effective inter-departmental communication to resolve queries
  • Maintenance of product knowledge, markets, customers and suppliers
  • Sales order administration and customer account maintenance
  • Liaise with other internal departments to ensure sales are completed
  • Liaise with couriers for best pricing on dispatches

 

General Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that all work produced is of a high standard and adherence to standards laid down in Company procedures or as directed by your Line Manager
