JOB SUMMARY
The Sr Revenue Assurance Analyst serves as a resource to maximize product profitability and minimize financial and/or operational risks by conducting billing and/or process flow audits and partnering with key stakeholders throughout the organization. The incumbent will isolate and research services, analyze the business drivers, determine root cause and work with functional and business teams to resolve issues. The Sr Revenue Assurance Analyst will develop audits and reports and complete complex data analysis as well as implement new control points and metrics as the business changes.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES
Champions efforts that prevent revenue leakage, reduce cost, increase revenue and reduce defects. Determines root cause and error resolution resulting in revenue recovery, revenue loss, or cost savings.
Performs reconciliation, monitoring, process documentation, and analysis of key processes and systems. Ensures processes are documented, measured, and accurately reported. Supports ongoing development and validation of business rules and operational processes.
Assists departments with the development of revenue processes and controls while ensuring the impacts to other processes are considered. Supports development of related recommendations and business cases for presentation to business partners. Aligns with cross-functional groups and manages assigned projects to successful and timely completion.
Architects and implements financial assurance controls including source data acquisition, normalization and automation. Implements new control points and metrics as the business changes.
Builds and runs queries and conducts complex data analysis.
Supports ad-hoc requests and projects as requested by the supported organizations and teams.
Performs other duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS - REQUIRED
Education: High School diploma, GED or equivalent work experience. Bachelors Degree in Finance, Business or Accounting preferred.
Experience: Generally 3-5 years directly related experience. Experience using NetCracker ICOMS and/or CSG billing system experience preferred. Proficient in querying a large amount of data using SQL query a plus. Time may be credited for college coursework in applying experience requirements. Certification may be required in some areas.
Other: Working knowledge of GAAP. Advanced Excel skills. Understanding of Telecom OSS/BSS environment. Understanding of Financial Assurance concepts and application in business.

Demonstrated ability to query and analyze data in Access, Hyperion, OBIEE or other reporting tools.
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively (written & verbal).
Demonstrated ability to work independently with general supervision as well as in a team environment.
Proficient problem-solving ability.
Demonstrated ability to analyze data and explain findings to leadership.
