Volt Workforce Solutions is seeking a Drafting Assistant for our client in Chandler. AZ. This candidate will organize new projects, material takeoffs for initial ordering, and review drawing package and specifications for details. The ideal candidate will have a construction background and experience with AutoCad. This is a first shift position $16-20/hr.
Key role responsibilities
- Design branch circuit wiring systems
- Work closely with Project Engineers and Design Specialists to make sure the products meet the customer needs.
- Help translate customer needs into product specifications
- Meet project specific deadlines.
Qualifications and Experience
- Building structure knowledge
- Knowledge of construction drawings, specifications and materials, specific to the electrical industry preferred
- Ability to navigate through drafting software ( Specifically AutoCad )
- Excellent communication skills
- Comfortable using a computer
- Basic knowledge in electrical code
- Attention to detail
