Our client, world's largest liquefied natural gas company, is urgently looking for a “Sr. Enterprise Security Architect” 

 

Reports to:        Head — Information Security Risk & Assurance

Directorate / Dept.: Human Capital Directorate / Information & Communication Technology

 

Primary Purpose of the Job

The Enterprise Security Architect shall perform an integral role in defining and developing security strategy, architecture and practices, to effectively translate business objectives and risk management strategies into specific security processes enabled by security technologies and services.

 

Principal Accountabilities

  • Design and develop the Security Architecture vision, roadmap, framework, governance, documents and models in alignment with The client’s strategic security principles; (considering information security requirements, security technology requirements, security solution requirements and security change requirements);
  • Develop and maintain architecture security baselines and holistic reference security architecture models for The client’s enterprise IT environment
  • Develop and define the security infrastructure technology architecture for business requirement and guidelines for secure enterprise IT architecture
  • Develop the Enterprise Security Architect (ESA) blueprints, including critical security concerns that will support the design.
  • Conduct architecture risk assessments and ensure compliance of the client’s enterprise IT architecture with leading security architecture standards and practices
  • Analyse and define business processes and the information flow model for identity- proofing services;
  • Collaborate with other IT teams and external consultants to assess and adaptability, consistency and effectiveness of security solutions
  • Develop and design migration plan for a phased implementation of the new architecture;
  • Develop and design the integration and alignment process between the ESA and the Enterprise Architecture.
  • Assess and recommend security technologies, tools and services to the cyber security team
  • for their use, based on security, financial and operational metrics
  • Support other departments within the organization on initiatives such as security assessments, audits, risk assessments and documentation
  • Participate in acceptance testing, technical evaluation of new security solutions Provide assistance in cost benefit analysis for new solution implementations
  • Provide subject matter expertise for new/ emerging technologies such as Cloud, IOT, Next- Gen Networks, etc.

Context / Special Features / Challenges

This position requires extensive knowledge and experience on the following but not limited to:

  • Ability to think and communicate (verbal and written) focusing on different audiences throughout the organization (technical and non-technical).
  • Cyber Security/Information Security; Enterprise Security Architecture design and implementation; Technical skills in both OT and IT domains;
  • Project Management skills;
  • Business understanding of Energy Sector, preferably in Oil & Gas;

 

Qualifications / Knowledge / Skills /Experience

  • Bachelor degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or Systems Engineering;
  • Professional certifications related to Information security and Enterprise Security Architecture like TOGAF, SABSA, CISSP-ISAAP or others;
  • 10+ years in the domains of cyber security. At-least 5 years in design of ICT security solutions for large enterprise IT environments
  • Experience with large ICS & ICT environments in the Energy sector, preferably in Oil & Gas;
  • Experience of Cybersecurity Project Management;
  • Knowledge of information security capabilities and requirements analysis; Excellent written and verbal business communication skills.

Contract Duration:1 year renewable

Work Schedule: 5 days a week, 8hrs per day
