LOOKING FOR MV Design Engineer

Terms and Conditions:

Project: ZADCO MV & LV switchgear revamping

Expected Start Date: 15 August 2019 or earlier

Location : design department in Abu Dhabi Mussafah office UAE

Contract duration: 6 months extendable depending on performance

Job Position: MV Design Engineer

Reporting to: Ronald Philips – Design Team Leader

Job Description

• Finalize the list of design deliverables in discussion with project manager for the projects handled.
• Produce following technical documents as per project requirements and customer comments as per project schedule.

1. SLD
2. Schematic drawing
3. CT/VT adequacy check
4. AD/DC load calculations

• Carry out all design activities with the objective of success of the project in terms of quality, duration and profitability.
• Provide Technical clarifications to the Customer during the Design submission/approval stage and attend meetings if required to clarify and accelerate the approval process.
• Coordinate with the back offices (factory) for preparation and approval of design documents and coordinate during manufacturing for faster and efficient delivery.
• Prepare bill of material for equipment’s and provide ordering assistance to the Project Engineer.
• Support tender for clarifications / feedback as and when required.

Qualification:

• Degree / diploma in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in MV/LV switchgear / protection design as part of MV/LV substation projects.
• Must have good communication skills.
• Team player.
• Should visit site if required for survey / meeting.
• Knowledge in Windows MS Office is must and ability to work in AutoCAD is preferred.
