Job Purpose:
- The Procurement Quality Advisor ensures the effective Quality oversight of the
- Contractor procurement activities by reviewing vendor inspection documents, coordinating inspection on Company behalf, NCR and punch list clearance and review of manufacturing records.
Key Result Areas:
- Development of project Procurement Surveillance Plan.
- Assures that those responsible for the Procurement Surveillance Plan comply with the deliverables of the plan as approved with frequent review of findings & metrics
- as they apply to NFPSI1P1 Quality.
- Schedules and coordinate assessments of Inspection and Test Plan activities to ensure continued compliance to the Quality Plans and Procedures.
- Monitors Punch list exercises and develop and analyze trends.
- Conducts root cause evaluations as directed by Quality Lead.
- Monitors and tracks DR/CAR/NCR for compliance and completeness.
- Provides technical advice to PMT Engineering, Procurement and Construction on QA/QC.
- Works in co-operation with the site PMT Construction Managers, Field Engineers and Procurement Advisors on all QA/QC matters.
- Assist PMT in meeting RGEE expectations, especially, RGEE Element 3.3 Quality.
- Responsible for implementing and recording procurement quality surveillance programs, monitoring Contractor performance and review of the Punch List submittals.
- Provides a liaison role between PMT Vendor Inspectors and their effective surveillance and punch list responsibilities.
- Participates in NCR and CAR clearance and investigation of debottlenecking activities to ensure effective resolution and clearance of punches.

- The operating environment is dynamic and stressful, requiring a high degree of commitment.
- Positional boundary set by the approved Project Organization Charts.
Communications and Working Relationships:
- Requires the ability to effectively communicate quality matters at project level.
- The Procurement Quality Coordinator must exhibit a high degree of computer literacy, coordination and communication skills.
- Persuasive man-management attributes are essential across all levels of the organization with an ability to establish and maintain open and responsive
- relationships.
Problem Solving/Complexity:
- Applies extensive industry-based experience and knowledge to promote and establish existing systems, processes and procedures within a structured quality framework.
- Manages the implementation of PMT Quality solutions in a timely and cost-effective manner that compliments safety, cost and schedule.
- Follows established structured methodologies in defining and completing projects.
Decision Making Authority and Responsibility:
- The Procurement Quality Coordinator must be capable of decision making and demonstrating a high level of judgement and responsibility.
