• Lead the maintenance organization and directs his section managers with respect to daily business and to long term planning
• Managing a safe & efficient maintenance service within the annual budget and the set performance criteria
• Firsthand supervision of service engineers, section managers, controllers and project administration
• Secondary hand supervision of all staff of the maintenance organization
• Overall responsibility for all aspects of maintenance services
• First in line authority for all contractual matters
• Co-ordination and clarification of all work-related matters with next higher internal or external authority
• Lead and directing of all sections with respect to daily business and to long term planning
• Ensuring the execution of maintenance activities in a safe manner and in accordance to the set standards
• Steering of internal and external top-level meetings
• Definition of responsibilities for the subordinated offices
• Initiates disciplinary measures
• Preparation of proposals for renewals and investments
• Responsibility for budget and the preparation of proposals
• Overall responsibility for the safety policy of the organization
• Follows the applicable safety rules, regulations and procedures
