RESPONSIBILITIES
- To promote & comply with applicable safety instructionsand other HSE procedures in all Topsides EPC activities, Adhere to and effectively communicate Project HSEQ Policies, Intervene where HSE deficiencies are identified and report, Be promoter of HSE on worksites as a priority.
- To carry out work in compliance with values and policies, relevant laws and regulations, agreed priorities and objectives, standards and procedures and good industry practices,
- To define (with Package Lead)and manage an organization to cover all construction and QA/QC activities on contractor construction yard.
- To treat all information obtained during course of the work with confidentiality,
- To ensure timely review of construction documentationto identify clashes/conflicts,
- To anticipate the offshore activities and ensure Contractorstarts in due time onshore preparation of the critical offshore activities,
- To manage assistance from discipline specialists, when required during all phases,
- To assist EPC contract management with regards to all technical, commercial and contractual issues arising during Topsidesconstruction execution and liaise with Topsides EPCIC2 Package Lead on regular basis on that matters by insuring that all necessary information are properly recorded, collated and available for further negotiations
- To ensure that relevant feedbackfrom previous similar projects are considered for the project works performance,
- To setup and manageweekly and monthly meetings with Contractor(s), and call specific ad hoc meetings as required.
Requirements
- Qualification: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with minimum 8 years’ strong experience in construction yard for the oil industry of which 5 spent in a lead construction position.
- Experience within a project team: At least 5years’ experience within large multinational taskforce team environment,
- Available for technical missions worldwide,
- Familiar with Total General Specifications, Prodom, and relevant codes and standards,
- Language: Fluent English,
- Computer literate,
- Goodleadership skills and good communication skills,
- Ability to work on projects in a complex and multicultural environment,
- Good analytical skills,
- H2S OPITO and T-BOSIET trainings.
