Position Description:
You will be assisting the Logistics Manager by running the team of 40 HGV drivers and agency drivers. Supervising, leading and managing this group of professional drivers. You will be responsible for building engagement and rapport with the team, acting as a role model and inspiring your colleagues.
You will be assisting in managing the relationship between the warehouse and transport and ensuring that everyone is on the same page and working as a team. Where standards fall short you will be responsible for discipline and management.
You will be conducting daily briefs for the drivers and giving 1 to 1 sessions regularly to ensure that they remain focussed and engaged.
Skills Required:
You must have recent experience in a similar role.
