Position Description:
Workshop Controller required for a HGV and van rental company in Warrington. Proftech Talent have been requested to recruit for a Workshop Controller to take responsibility for the Mechanics and Apprentices who maintain the vehicle fleet. You will be using your excellent knowledge of Transport Refrigeration to implement a policy of preventative maintenance. In this job as a Workshop Controller you will be managing the day to day operations of the workshop and the mechanics, the procurement of parts and the maintenance of the inventory. You will be making assessments on workload requirements relating to job assignments and will be responsible for meeting those commitments.
Skills Required:
You will be able to install any equipment to OEM standards.
The system used for managing the fleet maintenance is Kerridge.
You will be capable of making technical recommendations on the course of action to take.
The training of team members will be your responsibility.
Experience Required:
You will need to have previous experience of running a mechanical workshop in order to be successful in applying for this role.
Refrigeration experience in vehicles is required in order to fully understand this position. Applicants without this experience will not be considered.
