The Automation engineer designs, specifies,develop and inspects complex automation systems (DCS, ESD,AMS and Field Instrumentation) pertaining to critical chemical facilities located worldwide, according to applicable regulations, norms, company internal standards and contractual specifications based on PIDs,SIL analyses and design basis, developed in co-operation with other disciplines of project scope work.The engineer is responsible for the quality of technical documents,which are necessary in the different study phases and the execution phase of projects. The engineer must be capable to check and supervise the am tasks when being performed by a contractor or external engineering office. The engineer gives priority to safety and environment and actively participates in risk assessments, HAZOP &SIL sessions.The engineer must give automation input to prepare PIDs and layout drawings. The engineer must have good human skills and is able to lead a team of contractors during study and execution phases of projects
