Your Role
As a Technical Writer, you will be involved in creating, developing and updating technical and customer documentation for our products. This includes system descriptions, user and maintenance manuals, and other technical descriptions and instructions. This role also requires developing and improving our procedures and processes regarding documentation.
As a person responsible for the technical documentation, you will ensure that content and illustrations are up to date, correct, and comply with applicable directives and standards.
In this role, you will collaborate with both the developer organization and the support organization, including some international contacts.
As this is a new role, you will have the opportunity to influence its content and design.
Your Profile
Some years of experience as a technical writer and knowledge of XML / SGML are required. Experience with the DOORS and FLARE tools will be of extra advantage. A technical education background is also of great value.
You master both Swedish and English in both speech and writing.
You are eager, structured and detail-oriented. You can analyze and develop content, and restructure technical information for better readability and understanding.
You have a keen interest in technology and language, and you are able to explain complex technical contexts in a simplified way. You have your own drive and a good ability to see things from a holistic perspective. You enjoy working in a role where every day is different!
Furthermore, you are self-driven, action-oriented, and thrive on responsibility. This role requires you to have many contacts within the organization and good relationships with the people around you. You also need to be flexible and easy to adapt to new tasks and situations.
