JOB SCOPE  
To research, analyze, and collate data/information to provide accurate market intelligence to US sales and operational personnel which can/will be used in a variety of ways for executives, directors, managers, and their various US organizations.


DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES  (not listed in any particular order)

  • Vetting rig data from external sources for accuracy
  • Upload and maintain accurate rig data in SalesForce.com
  • Coordinate with IT for the rig data upload and routinely perform quality control to ensure accuracy of upload and input data
  • Support Strategic Account Managers for business intelligence, revenue streams, Salesforce opportunities, area and product evaluations, operator evaluations, combining and sharing of customer intelligence currently owned separately by B.U & SAM, comparing internal revenue performance to market trend (rig count, spend, etc.)
  • Collect market data as needed to create business intelligence that may/will impact Weatherford’s business decisions, from any source (internal or external)
  • Forge internal relationships with sales and operational personnel (they will have a great deal of market intelligence)
  • Combine/collate data from a variety of sources to create a repository of market intelligence that can be used by sales and operational personnel
  • Routinely report findings to sales and operations
  • Collect/collate and provide data for budgetary purposes
  • Perform various other duties and activities as assigned by supervisor within the physical constraints of the job

    
SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE
Essential    
•    >=3 years of experience in data analysis
•    Extensive MS Excel Experience
•    Salesforce experience
•    Strong Database knowledge including structure and design
•    Ability to work well with all levels of personnel
•    Excellent presentation skills
Preferred    
•    MS Office Certified with 5 years’ experience as an analyst

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Essential    
•    Data analysis experience
Preferred    
•    College graduate

ANY SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

•    The physical ability to immediately respond to emergency situations.
