An exciting opportunity has arisen for a children's social worker to join a Looked After Children's & Court Team based in Rotherham. Using your two years plus post qualifying experience of working with vulnerable children and their families you will focus on improving outcomes for children, young people and their families.
You will have the responsibility of having a caseload of looked after children and care leavers residing in foster care or residential care, whilst formulating Care Plans, Pathway Plans and Child in Need Plans. Furthermore you may also undertake court work, attend court when completing Child & Family Assessments, risk assessments, attending Looked After Children Meetings and Child in Need Meetings. The role involves undertaking visits to young people in line with statutory procedures and the planning and commissioning services to support young people.
With your recognised professional Social Work qualification (MA/BA/BSc in Social Work, Diploma in Social Work or CQSW) and HCPC registration, you will use your experience to make a significant contribution to the team.
