Your role

We offer a fun and interesting job with a lot of different and variating tasks. You will be a member of the engineering team responsible for designing mechanical parts and systems for world leading defense systems like RBS 70 NG, Carl Gustaf and NLAW.

You will work with mechanical design and development. Work tasks consist of new development projects and maintaining product’s quality over time through care and maintenance.

There is also possibility’s to work with technical studies and development of our process, methodology and tools.

Main tasks include:

• Development and maintenance of mechanical systems, including; design, specification, verification and documentation
• Collaboration with the team inside and outside your responsibility area
• Contact and support with production, customers and suppliers

Your profile

To thrive in this role, you are creative and have an interest in product development.

Skills:

• Bachelor or Master’s degree in engineering or work experience in mechanical engineering
• Experience of 3D-CAD tool. (CATIA, 3DExperience)
• Communication skills in Swedish and English, verbal and written.

This position requires that you will be approved in a security screening in accordance with the Swedish Protective Security Act.

What you will be a part of

Dynamics is a business area within Saab that offers support weapons, missiles, torpedoes, sensors, unmanned underwater vehicles, camouflage systems and defense market training systems.

The mechanics department consists of about 150 employees divided into three offices. Two of them are in Karlskoga and one in Linköping. Within the Design Team in Karlskoga we work mostly with Missile systems and Ground Combat systems.
