PHP Developer – OO PHP, MVC, MySQL
Stoke on Trent - £30,000 - £40,000 + Benefits
PHP Developer with knowledge of OO PHP, MVC frameworks such as Laravel and SaaS web application development sought by growing media technology company based in Stoke on Trent. As a result of this growth they have an opportunity for a strong PHP Developer to join their team and in time move into the role of leading and mentoring a small team of software developers.
The role will be working hands-on with the team, learning about their products and how they work. Full training will be provided at the more junior end of the scale.
To be considered for the PHP Developer role you should have:
- Solid OO PHP programming experience – up to PHP 7
- Excellent web development experience – HTML 5, CSS 3, JavaScript (jQuery)
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Experience working in a LAMP environment
- Good understanding of Version Control – Git, SVN, Mercurial
- Knowledge of MVC frameworks and MVC design
It would also be great if you if you had any Node.js, Ruby, PHP7,ES6
