Field Sales Manager / Area Account Manager required located in the Yorkshire / North East area for our independent manufacturing client supplying to builders, engineer and timber merchants, independent retailers, wholesalers and other distributers.
The main responsibilities of the Field Sales Manager will be to grow and develop an established customer base, selling a large range of products in the Yorkshire / North East area - from Lincoln to Newcastle, and Bradford to Hull.
The Field Sales Manager will:
- Identify new areas for growth and opportunities for additional product cross selling and upselling within the current customer base industries
- Bring back lost / lapsed businessr
- Identify and develop prospects
- Work with your dedicated internal account manager to achieve margin growth targets
- Maintain CRM records on customers and sales activities
Industry experience is not essential, but the Field Sales Manager must have at least 3 years’ experience in a Field Sales / National or Area Account Manager role. Sales experience in manufacturing or technical environment would be advantageous.
The package:
- £30,000-£34,000 per annum based on experience
- Uncapped commission structure
