Engagement Advisor required for our clients exciting project covering Manchester, Crewe, East Midlands, Leeds and Birmingham locations. 

The Engagement Advisor is a public facing role for prestigious government project.  Engaging with communities to deliver our clients engagement plan, its benefits and local impacts. The Engagement Advisor must have experience of community engagement in local government, public sector infrastructure or environmentally based projects. 

As an Engagement Advisor, you will deliver the plan for engaging with communities and their representatives affected by our clients project and manage external stakeholder relationships to support organisational objectives. 

The role will include preparing briefing materials and representing our client alongside ministers and senior management to support wider communications and stakeholder objectives; ensuring appropriate processes are followed to promote knowledge and understanding of community views and concerns within the organisation.

 The ideal Engagement Advisor will have:

• Experience of community engagement in local government, major public sector infrastructure or environmentally based projects.
• Proven ability to develop effective working relationships with a range of stakeholders, including at face-to-face meetings and events;
• Ability to absorb, record, organise and analyse large quantities of complex information and to relay this in an appropriate way to local stakeholders
• Proven experience in a public-facing role, including time in a challenging and complex environment
• Track record of working with local communities and/or their representatives;

The package:

Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm (36 hours per week)

Salary £30,150 to £37,700 + 15% flex cap, excellent benefits including, pension, healthcare
